1. Who we are

2. These terms

By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published when you place your order.

3. Products and information

We describe our products, ingredients and nutritional information as accurately as we can. Packaging, formulations and images may change — always read the label on the product you receive. Nutritional content and fuelling guidance on this site is general information for healthy adults engaged in exercise. It is not medical advice. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine or managing a medical condition, speak to a healthcare professional before use.

4. Prices

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you complete your order is the price you pay. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract of sale comes into effect when we accept it and dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if stock is unavailable, an address cannot be serviced, or payment cannot be verified — and will refund you in full where payment was taken.

6. Payment

Payment is processed by Payfast. Payfast supports card, Instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper and Mobicred. We do not receive or store your card details. Goods remain our property until payment has cleared in full.

7. Delivery

We deliver anywhere in South Africa by courier, normally within 3–5 working days, free on orders over R500. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed dates. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you supplied. Please make sure someone can accept the parcel — repeat delivery attempts caused by an incorrect or unattended address may be charged. 8. Returns, refunds and your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, including the right to cancel certain electronic transactions within seven days. In addition, we accept returns of unopened, undamaged products within 30 days. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods are replaced or refunded at our cost.

9. Use of this site

You may not use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a scale that affects other users, or resell our content. Accounts are personal to you and you are responsible for keeping your password secure.

10. Intellectual property

The GU name, logos, product names, photography and site content are protected by copyright and trade mark. You may not use them commercially without our written permission.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed events or lost race entries, arising from a delayed delivery.

12. Promotions and coupons

Discount codes are single-use per customer unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined, exclude clearance items and may be withdrawn at any time. Newsletter incentives apply to first orders only.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by South African law and the courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction. Please contact us first — nearly everything is resolved with one email.
